This past weekend I had the privilege of photographing Andrea and Mark’s newborn sweetheart, Lily. (Remember their Pier Sixty New York wedding from last year?) Oh. My. Goodness. Lily is a beautiful baby and so alert and inquisitive for being just under two weeks old! At first I wasn’t sure if I’d get to see her in her wide-eyed stage as Mark and Andrea had told me I would, but after a few little naps she really did show us those gorgeous eyes!
She started out very sleepy:

So sleepy, in fact, that no matter what position we put her in, she still didn’t wake up. :)

But eventually, her eyes opened a bit:

And then she went back to sleep again. This time, doesn’t she look so happy in mom and dad’s hands?

Hello! I love this one. She’s looking at daddy here:

The pursed lips are too cute:

Aaaand, back to sleep:

Here’s a shot from her fabulous nursery. This wall art was skillfully painted by her grandpa!

And here she is looking pretty grown up for a two-week-old! She was really having a conversation with me. :)

And a cute look over mom’s shoulder:

Tummy play time was pretty fun!

I’m so glad I had a chance to photograph Lily. Thanks, Andrea and Mark!
