Friends and family came from all over the world to celebrate with Ashley and Matthijs. The couple has traveled the world together, so it was quite fitting. Ashley is from Ohio, and Matthijs from the Netherlands, so they chose to make New York the destination for their wedding. They even enjoyed a few days surrounding their wedding date exploring New York City with their guests. Their vows were lovingly crafted in both Dutch and English, and their ceremony was full of heartfelt readings and songs performed by family members. Throughout the many handmade details of their day, you could find travel-themed items, vintage maps, suitcases, and passports. I love that Ashley and her mother can take the credit for making almost every detail themselves!

Lauren and Greg are such a warm, compassionate, fun-loving couple. I met them about a year and a half ago, and they’ve been so much fun to be around! They love being outdoors and their engagement session took place at the beach last year. Their wedding day was full of big summer thunderstorms, but we managed to step out into the sprinkling rain for a few photos after their heartfelt ceremony. They had one of my favorite first look moments ever, and Greg’s face showed such genuine excitement, amazement, happiness, and pure love for Lauren when he saw her for the first time on their wedding day. It was a series of real moments that I absolutely adored capturing in photos.
Lauren and Greg, thank you for being such a joy to be around! You’ve shown me how happy every couple should be on their wedding day! I wish you only the best, and a lifetime of happiness!

Kellie and Kyle are the sweetest of high school sweethearts. You might remember from their engagement session how much they laugh together, and they did not disappoint on their wedding day! Being the tremendously happy and caring people that they are, it wasn’t a surprise that friends and family stepped up to make so many of the details of their wedding come together. From Kyle’s mom’s special dessert recipe as their wedding favors, to a family friend who created the bouquets and floral arrangements, to the college soccer teammates who shared wonderful stories at their reception, it was an intimate wedding celebration that truly honored Kellie and Kyle’s love – and their love for family and friends.
