I’m Sarah. I make it my personal mission to create photos that will take you back to the moment in a real, meaningful way. I’m based in Bellingham, WA, and I’ve shot hundreds of weddings across the country over the years, from Seattle to Chicago to New York.

Michigan, Washington, New Jersey, Illinois - in that order. I finally settled on Washington - and I'm here to stay!
Way back in high school, I bought myself a 35mm Ricoh SLR and somehow figured out how to use the light meter. Yes, I learned on film! Then, after earning my Bachelor's Degree with double majors in Sociology and Spanish, I did the most logical thing and got a job working for a photography studio. ;) It's been a fun ride, and now I shoot with professional Canon DSLR cameras and lenses.
I've photographed over 200 weddings - in venues ranging from swanky NYC hotels to the Art Institute of Chicago to Bellingham backyards.
His creativity and sense of humor. I also like that he brews his own beer and is the president of the Bellingham Homebrewer's Guild. Does that make me the first lady? ;)
Bellingham - Currently digging Menace Brewing for the chill, neighborhood vibe.
Seattle - Holy Mountain has a super-beautiful space and I enjoyed a recent visit there.
Chicago - Half Acre's Lincoln Square taproom is a go-to when I'm visiting.

I’m a moment-driven photographer, with an eye for the romantic. That means you’ll see authenticity and real emotion in my photos. While I spend a small portion of the wedding day creating the necessary portraits, my passion lies in pursuing the moments that will be meaningful to look back on throughout the years. Capturing true, authentic joy is what I love most about photographing weddings!
