More wedding albums delivered - in time for Thanksgiving!

Before I head out on a trip to visit my family in Michigan for Thanksgiving, I just thought this album deserved a quick post. I delivered Yaeko and Eric’s album today and I LOVE it. This is such a beautiful example of simple, classic design to highlight the images and truly make a timeless keepsake. I love that they took me up on the suggestion of a silk cover with a suede leather wraparound. Because my albums are completely custom, I’m able to work with my clients to truly make their album one-of-a-kind. I encourage all of my couples to think beyond the black leather cover and create something unique!

Here’s what my custom album packaging looks like. Albums come wrapped in this gorgeous paper with an amazing leaf embellishment:

And before it’s unwrapped, here’s a detail of this 30-page 10×10 album’s pages:

THIS is the amazing cover, folks. Delicate silk design and suede wraparound. I’m in love:

And, of course, a shot of one of my favorite spreads from the ceremony:

Now, I’m off to order another copy of this album as a sample for myself!

Kristen & Brad’s Albums and a Holiday ordering note

I’ve been working on so many albums lately that when the UPS guy comes to my door I jump up and down … another completed album has arrived! This morning was no exception, and I just had to share a couple of images of Kristen & Brad’s finished albums. They were such an outstanding couple to work with, and their input into their design made it uniquely theirs. It’s so important for your album to be what you want it to be; that’s why I only offer custom designs. There’s no fitting your wedding in a box here; your input is key in the design process. It really pays off in an album you’ll cherish.

Now, (gasp!) a Holiday ordering note:

The truth is, if you are still deciding on the images you’d like in your album from your summer wedding, you’ll need to get those to me very soon to ensure delivery before the winter holidays. Your album design is custom, and you have input in changes to your design before it goes to print. This makes your album uniquely yours, but it also means your start-to-finish album process could take up to 10 weeks. If you’d like to have your album in time for the holidays, the cutoff for submitting your favorite images for design is Monday, October 26, 2009. But, of course, you probably want your album sooner than December, so why not get started today? ;) Just shoot me an e-mail. I’m ready.

Finally, just a few photos because I don’t often show the details of the quality of my albums. I thought you’d like to see them. :)

Here’s Kristen & Brad’s 10×10 album in the center, with two matching 6×6 parent albums surrounding. Having a small version of your album for your parents to show off is soooo much fun:

Their design incorporated a few full-page images, which I love. The images are true professional photographic prints, mounted flush to the page for a seamless, finished look:

And a little detail of the pages and binding. The book lays flat and has a tiny 1/16 of an inch gap along the seam. These albums are super high quality and hand-crafted to last generations:
